Once there lived an old man with his wife by the shore of a blue sea. They lived in a small, simple hut for thirty-three years. The old man caught fish with his net, and his wife stayed at home and spun yarn. One day he cast his net into the sea — but he pulled up only mud. The second time he cast the net — but only seaweed came out.
