Story excerpt
Deep in a great forest stood an old castle. A sorceress lived there all alone. By day, she took the shape of a cat or an owl. Only in the evening did she become a woman again. Anyone who came too close to the castle suddenly found they could no longer move. Only the sorceress could break the spell. She turned girls into birds and shut them in little baskets.
